CHEC (Calibaja Higher Education Consortium) is a collaborative initiative comprised of universities, community colleges, research institutions, the United States Consulate in Tijuana, the General Consulate of Mexico in San Diego,

and public institutions such as the Secretariat of Education of Baja California, as well as private sector organizations.
